Dream4Kids organiseert ´droomdagen´ voor kinderen met een trauma, helemaal op het kind afgestemd. Op zaterdag 24 augustus organiseren zij een benefietavond in Café Loenz, bedoeld om het geld in te zamelen voor twee droomdagen, voor twee meisjes die de steun hard nodig hebben. De meisjes zijn er zelf niet bij, de bedoeling is dat zoveel mogelijk mensen een leuke avond komen hebben en daarmee deze twee droomdagen mogelijk maken!
Samen met Tim Jansen zal ik tijdens deze avond de live-muziek verzorgen. Heel bijzonder en geweldig om te kunnen doen!

Donderdag 27 juni begint Thissfest in Den Haag! Dit is een geweldig initiatief van Richard Morris, die 200 singer-songwriters uit 30 verschillende landen naar Den Haag brengt voor 4 dagen lang muziek op 7 verschillende podia!

Mijn lieve neef Joute zou vandaag 14 jaar oud zijn geworden. Het is nu anderhalf jaar geleden dat hij volslagen onverwacht overleed. Nog steeds voelt het even onwerkelijk.
Ik besloot destijds al gauw dat ik een nummer wilde gaan maken als eerbetoon aan Joute. Ik ben nu zo ver dat ik het resultaat kan delen, ’You Were So Alive’. Ik draag dit nummer op aan Joute en aan zijn lieve broers en ouders, die samen moeten proberen om dit onvoorstelbaar grote verlies een plaats te geven.
